The oak-beamed, doubled bedded guest room at the Old Rectory is simply but tastefully furnished and extremely comfortable, with its own private bathroom (adjacent, not en-suite). The room features wireless broadband and a colour TV in addition to tea and coffee making facilities, and a DVD player and digital radio can be provided if required. Young children can be accommodated in their own, separate room if required, and travel cots can also be provided. Please call for details.
Breakfast is served in the wood-panelled dining room which leads on to the guests drawing room and looks out onto the meadow and the River Usk beyond. If you would prefer to have your breakfast out on the patio or in the light and airy kitchen/conservatory you would be more than welcome, as long as you don't mind a friendly labrador padding around and getting under your feet!
The Old Rectory also has a cosy drawing room available only to our guests, with a roaring log fire to relax by after the sun has sunk below the Welsh hills. A CD player and wired broadband connection are on hand for those who require them, and a colour TV can be provided if required.
Please note that The Old Rectory is home to two dogs, one extremely friendly cat and six rather inquisitive hens. Whilst we don't allow any of the above into the guest areas, we thought those with allergies or aversions might at least appreciate knowing of their existence!
