The Old Rectory is open all year round, indeed many outdoor enthusiasts consider that Wales is best experienced during the months of Autumn and Winter. Having said that, we are at our busiest during the Summer months and advance booking during this time is highly recommended.
Pricing varies according to the time of year, but starts from just £35 per person, per night, to include your choice of full English or Continental breakfast. For single occupancy we charge £45 per night. We are a particularly child-friendly establishment and children can be accommodated at nominal cost in their own separate bedroom - please call us for details. Travel cots, baby-listening devices and high chairs can all be provided as required.
We believe strongly in making the most of the wonderful food that is produced close to us, so wherever possible we obtain our ingredients from local farms and suppliers. For breakfast this means you can enjoy free range eggs (provided by our own hens!), locally sourced bacon and sausages, homegrown fried tomatoes, seasonal mushrooms and home baked bread. All tastes can be catered for by prior notice. Packed lunches are available for hikers, riders and cyclists by request, and evening meals can also be provided by prior arrangement. The Old Rectory is also being offered as a self catering option for the duration of the Ryder Cup 2010. We are only 25 minutes by car from The Celtic Manor resort, and with six bedrooms in total and private parking for up to four cars we offer expansive accommodation for the extent of your Ryder Cup stay.
